Grape Varieties Zweigelt , Rösler , Rathay
Site, Vineyard and Soil Kräutergarten in Oberwaltersdorf, Alluvial gravel soil Description Ruby red, becoming more cherry red at the rim. In the nose there's a mix of red berries, blackheart cherries and herbs from the kitchen garden; juicy fruit meets cool freshness. On the palate, red jelly and red currants. A whiff of thyme and juniper. Luxuriant and smooth. A wine for summer evenings with the picnic basket in the park; a faithful accompanist that adapts continually but never imposes itself.
Food Pairing For summer dishes, prosciutto with Parmesan, dishes with basil, grilled and light meets. Actually goes well with most light cuisine.
Serving temperature Slightly chilled, 14°C.
