Site, Vineyard and SoilKräutergarten, OberwaltersdorfDescriptionBright and brilliant straw yellow. The fresh and clear nose offers the scents of kiwi, ripe gooseberries, pomelo and a bit of lemongrass. In the finish an elegant smoky note shows itself. On the palate the SB (as we fondly call it) has a crisp & animated acidity, and an aromatic mixture of citrus zest, gooseberries, grapefruit sorbet and white pepper. The medium-length finish is characterised by an elegant minerality. Heinrich can still not forswear his love for New Zealand, and has once more produced a worthy example of this variety.
